Communicate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Training Analyst, and Instructors in the development and revision training materials for electronic classroom, computer-based training (CBT), and classroom/briefing room displays and placards. Draw, modify, and enhance graphics using computer-based authoring tools. Design CBT lessons using graphics, branching and animation. Create and implement programming to control and run CBT and classroom lessons. Create text files using Microsoft Word. Retrieve lessons from central repository. Archive, process and control approved configuration changes to the courseware and C-130 Training baselines. Maintain courseware objectives, test question and other related databases in the Training Management System for Configuration Management. Create, label and distribute courseware to users via CD-ROMs, other electronic media or hardcopy as required. Provide training, orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required.
Two (2) year Associate Degree in closely related discipline and one (1) year of directly related experience or an equivalent level of demonstrated knowledge acquired through a combination of education and experience. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and computer-based authoring tools using Windows-based operating systems required. One (1) year experience creating and revising computer-based training (including animation programming). Also, one (1) year experience creating and editing graphics using Windows-based operating systems or directly related experience required. Must be capable of attaining a SECRET clearance.
