Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is an independent special district that provides sustainable, accessible, community-focused transportation options that are innovative, environmentally responsible, and promote the vitality of the Silicon Valley region. VTA is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented individual to manage and direct the activities of the bus and rail operations. The VTA seeks a leader with strong management skills and experience fostering positive working relationships among staff, union representatives, and external stakeholders. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for directing the programs and functions of Bus and Light Rail Transportation, Operations Control Center, Field Supervision, and Operations Training.
