Education and/or Experience
A demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within his or her discipline and grow within the firm; 0-2 year’s internship experience preferred. Course work in a four-year undergraduate engineering program
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as logarithms, higher order linear equations, calculus and economical analysis. Ability to apply knowledge to electrical, mechanical, or civil/structural design problems.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Outlook Contact Management systems; Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Micro Station Design software preferred; Rivet knowledge a plus; MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software.
